Outstanding Attendance!

What a week it has been...... We have had great sessions each morning and evening! Monday we had 52 in attendance, Tuesday 58, Wednesday 55, and Thursday 55! We thought attendance might be down on Wednesday because the rain and cold... but we were wrong!
Our students have been great.... they are interested and eager.... and learning everything we can teach them! God be praised...

The adult class has been excellent.... with one youg woman considering being baptized....
Many of the students have been coming to the evening classes. And we have been talking about decisions and their consequences....

We have talked with Pam, Paul, Aurel, and Carmen.... Continue to pray....

VBS in Sibiu is going well!

The Vacation Bible School in Sibiu is going very well. We had 52 students on Monday morning and 58 on Tuesday morning. Most of them are returning students from last year, which is what we were hoping for. On Monday night we had 21 in the young people's class. The adult studies are also going well. ... a two hour study Monday night with one of the ladies, dinner scheduled on Wednesday night with a former member, and another study scheduled on Thursday with a different lady.
On Tuesday we had a Romanian dinner prepared by one of the church members, and it included SCHNITZEL!
The weather here has been on the warm side, but a cool front came in on Tuesday along with some rain, so we almost need our jackets.
Lee and Stephanie and their family are doing great, and they send their love.

Only days away from the Sibiu Mission trip!

We are days away from our trip! We fly from Dallas on July 8 and return on July 22. The team is excited and prepared! This years team consists of: Billy, Tammy, and Rebecca Moran, Louise Little, Tom Vncent, Katrina Knight, Michael Elrod, Ryan Bunge, Brittany Moore, David, Barbara, and Jennifer Glascock, and Jennifer Peterson. The VBS this year will be held at the church building in Sibiu. In the past VBS has been held at one of the public schools. There were restrictions on what we were supposed to teach.... "English only, using the Bible". No doctrine was to be taught. We were able to work through this restriction. But no such restriction exists at the church building! Be praying for the team, the students that will be taught, the christians in Sibiu, and the Skelton Family. We'll be making updates when we get to Sibiu... so be watching the Blog site! God Bless...
